'Relatively' Simple Installation

  1. Clean the unit to remove any dirt, oils or manufacturing 'release agents' that may remain on the plastic case
  2. Use the guides below to determine proper placement of Velcro©
  3. Cut the Velcro© as needed so as not to pass over card slots or other controls
  4. Remove adhesive backing (avoid touching the adhesive as much as possible)
  5. Place the Velcro© strips on the unit as far toward front as possible - press firmly to secure
  6. Allow the adhesive to cure 24 hours before attaching the sun shade

Because the sun shade is flexible, you can actually activate on/off switches just by pressing on the shade in the area where it passes over the switch.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The 703 shade is designed so that it LEAVES THE CONTROLS EXPOSED on the right hand side. LOOK at this picture carefully, the right side of the shade travels down BETWEEN THE CONTROLS and the DISPLAY! It then attaches to the BOTTOM of the unit using a small Velcro patch. The 703 shade DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY ACROSS the unit.
