A popular destination for many, New Zealand offers some of the most amazing sights in the world. For the adventurer wanting to see the world where cars can’t access, this destination should be at the top of your list. The Kahurangi National Park is a must see spot as easy day-hikes are found throughout the Oparara Basin as one of the more popular spots to visit.

If you are looking to stay in the states for a domestic hiking experience, you can’t go wrong with visiting Arizona in the great American southwest. One of the most amazing spots to see in this great state is Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. With the breathtaking sandstone canyons lining both the upper and lower regions, this sight is a must see for any hiking enthusiast.

The beautiful islands of Hawaii are on many people’s bucket list of places to visit, and they should be high on any hiking lover’s list. The island of Oahu provides some of the most amazing views you will find in the world, and a 7-mile hike to Pu’u Ohulehule will give you a beautiful bird’s eye view of the entire island. While it can be a bit strenuous to reach the 2,265 foot high summit, the reward is absolutely worth it.

If a trip across the pond is on your agenda, Europe offers some of the world’s best hiking spots for hikers of all skill levels. If you are looking for something with some depth and intensity, the 65 mile hike in Kungsleden, Sweden is perfect for you. This trek will take a few days to accomplish, but huts along the way for shelter combined with the views will motivate you to make it to the end.

Another great spot in Europe to trek through is Norway, specifically a hike to Trolltunga, or “The Troll’s Tongue.” A day long hike that will test your overall skills as a hiker as well as your fitness, but the view from the rock that juts out above  the water from on top of the cliffs is breathtaking.
